Brook Trout, Salvelinus fontinalis

Few fish on this planet are as beautiful as the native Brook Trout.  Their coloration is specific to the body of water from which they come.  They are speckled jewels of the forest. Nick painted the original painting used to create these prints from a beautiful male he caught near his home in a pond which has no roads or paths leading to it.
